We are looking for passionate individual to join our IT Operations Team and support various initiatives and projects aiming at modernize our IT landscape and deliver value for our business.
Set up of our Team is consisting of internal Team in charge of Infrastructure support and external Managed Service Provider (MSP), delivering recurring activities as well as various projects and improvements in the area of cloud infrastructure.
Your position will be located in internal Team. This role will a combination hand-on activities and coordinating/overseeing the work done by MSP.
What are you going to do?
- Contribute to delivery of services related to cloud IT infrastructure.
- Contribute to oversight of work of key managed service providers in the area of cloud IT infrastructure.
- Participate in and lead various projects and improvements related to cloud infrastructure.
- Support internal IT Teams and service providers in case of major incidents.
What are the examples of topics you will work on?
- Migrating on premise applications to the cloud.
- Increasing infrastructure resilience & compliance with IT governance standards (i.e. implementing RBAC for databases and servers, organizing Disaster Recovery testing).
- Implement cost management, cost optimization and automation of Azure infrastructure (i.e. VM resizing, workload reservations, resource tagging).
- Modernize cloud solutions and systems hosted in Azure (i.e. implement database managed instances).
- Build CMBD for IT infrastructure.
