Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and continuously improve Azure governance policies, ensuring a secure, compliant cloud environment.
- Monitor Azure costs and usage, providing insights and recommendations to optimize cloud investments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain documentation, deliver training, and promote best practices in cloud governance and financial management.
- Create detailed reports on cloud expenditure to help stakeholders make informed decisions aligned with strategic IT goals.
- Support development of cost‑saving initiatives such as rightsizing resources and leveraging reserved instances.
- Contribute to a culture of transparency and accountability in cloud operations, fostering trust and efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or certification in IT, Cloud Computing, or Finance with proven experience in Azure governance and cost management.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially in governance, security, and financial optimization.
- Skills in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI), infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Bicep), and cloud financial management principles like FinOps.
- Optional certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer, or FinOps Certified.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, collaborative, with strong communication skills to translate complex topics.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
