About the project

For our customer, leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation we are looking for a Cloud Engineer.

•Location: Warsaw (hybrid model of work - 2 days from the office, 3 from home)

•Type of employment: B2B or contract of employment

•Budget: 155 PLN net + VAT per hour on B2B

•Project language: English

•Contract length: Indefinite/ long-term

•Start date: depending on candidate"s availability

Your responsibilities

  • Planning, configuring, deploying, and operating cloud solutions.
  • Hosting applications on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Storage.
  • Utilizing Docker and orchestration tools.
  • Managing networking principles and protocols, including IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.
  • Monitoring applications and ensure their performance and reliability.
  • Utilizing build management and CI/CD tools, as well as monitoring tools.
  • Configuring access and security for cloud resources.
  • Debugging, diagnosing, and resolving production issues.

Our requirements

  • Experience with GCP infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with Docker and orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Experience with application monitoring and management.
  • Familiarity with building management and CI/CD tools.
  • Ability to use infrastructure configuration management tools.
  • Experience in configuring cloud resource access and security.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Linux command-line and basic system administration.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
