The Digital Transformation Unit of Bayer Consumer Health operates a global data & analytics cloud platform, which is the backbone of all Data & Analytics Products, including ML, AI, and GenAI Solutions. As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will be part of a DevOps team, responsible for enhancing and operating a globally scalable distributed Data, Analytics, and AI platform. You will engage with Platform & Data Architects, Platform & Data Engineers and Data Scientists to identify which Capabilities need to be enabled or adjusted, implementing the respective features and changes while considering CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code Best Practices.

,[Contribute to platform roadmap together with cloud architects, derive requirements for missing capabilities in areas of Data & Analytics Stack, GenAI, Data Science, ML, and Application Development, and participate in service evaluation., Independently plan, design, and enable new features/services based on derived requirements in line with security guidelines, non-functional requirements like cost efficiency and scalability, and documentation guidelines., Train team members and stakeholders on how to operate and leverage new features and capabilities that you have built, as well as preparing and providing the needed documentation., Support operations of the platform by providing assistance to stakeholders and ensuring smooth functionality across services. This includes life cycle changes, incident resolution and handling of service requests as well as automation of operations., Observe and assess platform compliance and define AI-based solutions to ensure cost efficient platform and data operations within compliance guidelines., Engage with technology and implementation partners to overcome issues if required and shape platform roadmap., Engage with central cloud teams, infrastructure and cyber security teams to implement company and industry best practices and overcome blockers and incidents.
