Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3.5 years working with data in AWS cloud (confirmed by commercially implemented projects) and at least 1 year in a Lead Developer/Architect role or similar .
- Knowledge of AWS Data services.
- Strong familiarity with Databricks , particularly the latest features of the platform (e.g., Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog).
- Knowledge of tools, mechanisms, and processes such as CI/CD, IaaC/Terraform, Git.
- Ability to create and modify data models and choose the appropriate model for the problem at hand (DWH, Data Marts, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Lakehouse. )
- Familiarity with Lambda and Kappa architectures.
- Experience in building near real-time data analysis solutions.
- Proficient in monitoring, diagnostics, and problem-solving in the cloud, with the ability to plan infrastructure and estimate costs.
- Knowledge of migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud and understanding basic migration types.
- Understanding of secure data storage and processing mechanisms in the cloud.
- Participation in pre-sales meetings.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, good self-organization, independence, adaptability, communication skills, and proactivity.
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced individuals and lead initiatives for their developmental support.
- Comfortable presenting at industry events.
- Willingness to travel for business.
- Proficient in English at an advanced level, minimum C1.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting solutions with clients - both current and new. Advising on the selection of technical solutions appropriate to the clients business problem, striving for cost-optimal solutions that address the clients needs.
- Participating in early-stage client meetings - pitching our experience, processes, and technology approach, asking questions, gathering and detailing requirements.
- Contributing to proposals - designing proposed architecture, calculating Total Cost of Ownership/Return of Investment/cloud costs using cloud provider calculators.
- Estimating project involvement and costs for Data Science representatives.
- Building arguments to convince clients of our solution, showcasing advantages over alternative approaches.
- Participating in meetings presenting the offer, answering client questions, showcasing our solution segment.
- Conducting research and development on the functionality and applicability of new technologies and tools in client business solutions.
- Regular contact with decision-makers in the Data area on the client side (VP, IT Director).
- Creating Proof of Concepts (PoC) in the Data area to present results from R&D efforts.
- Designing and building the entire data processing platform, considering all its parts and connections with other solutions (e.g., BI and ML) within the cloud ecosystem.
- Optimizing overall data storage and analysis solutions/systems.
- Maintaining relationships with the technical team on the client side.
- Coordinating the work of engineers involved in creating the solution.
- Overseeing the entire project from start to finish.
- Engaging in the development of the Data Solutions business line (recruiting employees, clients, training, participating in conferences, mentoring, etc.).
