As a Data Platforms Technical Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of T-Mobile’s data platforms infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive the implementation of scalable, robust, and secure data solutions.
responsibilities :
Lead the design and development of data platform solutions
Create and maintain technical standards and best practices
Make decisions on architecture, tools, and frameworks for data ingestion, processing and analytics
Ensure alignment with enterprise technology and security standards
Implement and manage cloud-based (e.g. AWS, GCP) and on-prem data & analytics platforms
Ensure compliance with DevOps practices and privacy & security policies
Optimize platform performance and cost-efficiency, troubleshoot complex technical issues
Team & Stakeholder Management:
Oversee and mentor a team of data engineers and developers
Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
Work closely with stakeholders to align technical efforts with business objectives
Create and maintain product backlogs and roadmaps
Estimate and plan work, providing status updates to stakeholders
requirements-expected :
Extensive experience (4+ years) in designing and delivering cloud or hybrid data platforms
Strong background in data engineering and analytics
Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
Experience with Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies and NoSQL databases
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
