Boeing Poland Sp.z o.o. is currently looking for a Cloud Automation Specialist to join our team in either Gdansk, Warsaw or Rzeszow, Poland.

The position will be associated with one of the Poland offices. However, candidates can work from our office or in hybrid mode from home if preferred.

Position Overview: Seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Specialist for our private internal cloud team. This role will be responsible for partnering with our vendor in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to streamline cloud operations, enhance efficiency, and improve performance.

Please note that the position will be in touch with customers and teams all over the globe, hence working hours may differ slightly depending on the demand of support needed. The role therefore offers flexible working options, including hybrid or remote (with possibility of occasional on-site visits as per business need).

Position Responsibilities:

• Automation Strategy: Develop a comprehensive plan to help Boeing app teams reduce manual tasks, increase operational efficiency, and enable self-service capabilities on the Dell hosted cloud environments.
• Infrastructure Automation: Partner with Dell delivery teams to enable Boeing app teams implementation of automated workflows and scripts for provisioning and managing cloud resources like virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• CI/CD Integration: Assist developers with their CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment within the private cloud environment.
• Monitoring and Alerts Automation: Develop automated monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
• Cloud Governance Automation: Create automated governance processes to enforce compliance with security policies and cost management practices.
• Self-Service Portals: Design and develop user-friendly portals to enable end-users to independently manage cloud resources.
• Scripting and Tool Development: Create custom script templates and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance cloud administration. Assist app teams with configuration and implementation.
• Integration and Orchestration: Integrate cloud services and tools to ensure smooth data flow and coordination.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot automation-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in automation technologies and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with private cloud environments (e.g., OpenStack, VMware).
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and cloud security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with VMware hypervisor, Kubernetes container technology stacks such as Tanzu and RedHat OpenShift, Infrastructure as a Service and Infrastructure as Code methodology.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
