ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.

In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. About the role

As a Cloud App Engineer, you will oversee the daily operations of global Azure production environments, ensuring seamless technical service delivery. This role demands extensive expertise in technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS to effectively manage and deliver associated services. It is a highly technical position that requires substantial technical knowledge, proactive initiative, and a commitment to excellence 

How you will get the job done

• deploy, maintain, and support IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS applications and services using Terraform
• administer Entra ID and Azure infrastructure components
• share best practices across teams and the organization

Skills and experience you will need

• English proficiency at the C1 level
• strong knowledge of Azure IaaS (VNet, Storage, Key Vaults, VMs)
• understanding of the Enterprise Landing Zone approach in the cloud
• hands-on experience with Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access, Audit Logs, AIP)
• proficient in PowerShell scripting
• experience in deploying and integrating SAML/SSO-enabled applications
• ability to create and maintain Azure IaC deployments using Terraform
• experience with Git operations
• ability to self-develop skills and provide quality support

Nice to have

• experience in Microsoft 365 administration
• Cloud networking skills
• SIEM/CLM experience
• experience with work documentation in Jira/Confluence
• knowledge of CI/CD
• experience with Logic Apps, App Functions, and Automation Accounts
• basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune mobile device management
• knowledge of German
