Maintain and develop business with all customers in Southern Poland by providing excellent clinical/technical support and education, while meeting or exceeding sales targets and enhancing Medtronic’s reputation.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plan and prioritise clinical, technical and education programmes with review and input from implantable/disposable sales in Territory while closely cooperating with other functional groups (marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc.), consistent with the Capital Business Plan.
- Provide clinical expertise support to the customers of the district/network team, before and after device usage, and troubleshoot support to field sales force and customers on request.
- Develop customer training/education programmes; prepare study materials and conduct training for customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the District Sales force/network team.
- Conduct technical and clinical trainings for Sales force in the District and for other cooperating teams – Spine, Cranial and Service in the country.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
- Support marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures.
- Report immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks), including conduction of Field Actions.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of Neurosurgery Cranial & Spine product lines and therapies (Mazor, O‑arm, Stealth S8 Navigation, Midas, Osteocool)
- Fluency in English and Polish
- At least 3 years’ experience in the medical device industry or in a hospital operating room environment
- Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of good judgment and demonstrated integrity and respect of peers/subordinates
- Nursing experience, or nursing/physician assistant with spine implants, prior training/education experience, degree in Engineering, Life‑science, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant advanced degree is an advantage.
