Description

This role will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a group of CAD Designers, demonstrating the ability and maturity to achieve and maintain their respect. The Clinical Specialist will handle clinical inquiries from Align employees and prescribing doctors requiring specialized dental expertise, identify difficult customer situations, and provide remedies with Invisalign and/or CAD‑CAM services products. They will provide ideas and suggestions for improving clinical execution of cases, participate in clinical training at all levels, facilitate study groups, and support the management of product safety reports in collaboration with regulatory and quality assurance teams.

Role Expectations

• Provide clinical decisions and skills to a group of CAD Designers and Support team.
• Ensure treatments follow Align Protocols and customer instructions.
• Possibly involve in clinical inbound and outbound calls with Invisalign Providers.
• Resolve customer issues, concerns, and complaints.
• Participate in or deliver ongoing training to production CAD Designers.
• Handle inquiries, requests, or issues regarding company products/services.
• Handle clinical communication with Align Employees and/or Invisalign Providers.
• Assist or participate in clinical training for Align Employees and Invisalign Providers.
• Possibly participate in special projects and/or trainings as needed with detailed instructions.
• Provide ideas and suggestions to improve customer experience and specific clinical treatments.
• Support product safety report management with regulatory and quality assurance teams.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisor or Human Resources.
• Provide clinical assistance to the sales organization.
• Contribute independently.

What We’re Looking For

Academic Background

• If externally hired: Dental background (preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry), minimum 2 years of directly related experience.
• If internal promotion: May develop at this level for 2‑3 years internally; clinical acumen (medium level) as per EMEA CL Hub guidelines.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Intermediate level position.

Languages

• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• English language skill at least CI‑level (CEFR).
• Polish language skill at least CI‑level (CEFR).

Skills / Competencies

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret orthodontic records, treatment prescriptions, internal communications, and operating procedures.
• Effective presentation skills to co‑workers and supervisors.
• Adaptable learning and management of company tools to track and improve own performance and that of CAD Designers.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.
• Proficient in Align 3D software.
• Make sound and fast clinical decisions.
• Understand business metrics, KPIs, systems, and processes.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work functionally or cross‑functionally.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Strong customer focus.
