Clinical Specialist (Dentist or Orthodontist)

Role Overview: The Clinical Specialist will provide clinical leadership to a team of CAD Designers, support clinical inquiries from Align employees and prescribing doctors, and help resolve difficult customer situations using Invisalign and CAD‑CAM services. The role also involves clinical training, product safety reporting, and continuous improvement of clinical processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical decisions and expertise to CAD Designers and support staff.
  • Ensure treatments align with Align protocols and customer instructions.
  • Participate in inbound and outbound calls with Invisalign providers.
  • Resolve customer issues, concerns, and complaints.
  • Deliver ongoing training to production CAD Designers.
  • Handle inquiries and requests regarding company products/services.
  • Communicate clinically with Align employees and/or Invisalign providers.
  • Assist or participate in clinical training for Align employees and providers.
  • Contribute to special projects and trainings as needed.
  • Recommend ideas to improve customer experience and clinical treatments.
  • Support product safety reporting with regulatory and quality teams.
  • Comply with all safety policies, reporting unsafe activities to supervisor or Human Resources.
  • Provide clinical assistance to the sales organization.

Qualifications

Academic Background

  • Externally hired: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry.
  • Internally promoted: Eligible after 2–3 years at current level.
  • Minimum 2 years of directly related experience; intermediate position.

Experience

  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in Align 3D software.
  • Strong customer focus and problem‑solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Languages

  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • English language skill at least CI‑level (CEFR).
  • Polish language skill at least CI‑level (CEFR).

Skills / Competencies

  • Read, analyze, and interpret orthodontic records and treatment prescriptions.
  • Present information effectively to co‑workers and supervisors.
  • Adapt and manage company tools to improve performance.
  • Basic computer operations and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Make sound and fast clinical decisions.
  • Understand business metrics, KPIs, systems, and processes.
  • Strong customer focus and problem‑solving abilities.
