Overview

The Specialist– Client Operations and Analytics will utilize judgment and discretion to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity for the business to ensure seamless service delivery, increased revenue and leveraging analytics to drive performance improvements. This role involves managing and responding to correspondence from internal and external customers, escalating urgent and complex issues to senior staff, assessing operational data, and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Client Operations Management:

  1. Oversee assigned area of day-to-day operations, related to client service delivery, ensuring high standards of service quality.
  2. Resolve internal and/or external customer issues related to assigned area of operations.
  3. Proactively take steps to identify and create efficiencies in business process.
  4. Create and document key business processes and maintain dashboard(s) for assigned area(s).
  5. Support business driven initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Prepare reports on business performance metrics, operational efficiency, and project outcomes.
  3. Maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve Operations.
  4. Execute and/or assist on improvement activities to streamline operations and enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, administration, management, or relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business operations in a client-facing role in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization(s).
  3. General knowledge in financial management, accounting, or mathematics.
  4. Experience in MS Office suite, OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  5. Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience is helpful, but not essential.
  6. Ability to build relationships across functional areas.
  7. Exceptional problem-solving ability, backed by good judgement.
  8. Excellent attention to detail and an expectation of excellence in themselves and others.
  9. Comfortable navigating across a multi-level organization and able to work with different stakeholders with different business needs and at times, different priorities.
