Client Onboarding Specialist - Asset Management

We’re searching for a Client Onboarding Specialist in Asset Management to contribute to a great client experience. If you have a client-orientated mindset and are interested in operational aspects of financial services and risks associated with providing these to clients, we are looking for you.

Your role will involve being a competent contact person for our client relationship managers covering institutional clients and supporting the central processes in onboarding, lifecycle management, and offboarding of client mandates.

• Review of contractual documents, in particular with respect to regulatory, legal and economic aspects (agreements, client-related documents, taxes, etc.)
• Implementation and management of internal processes for approval and risk management
• Understand our client’s needs and work across teams and functions to achieve the best solutions
• Capture core operational data and documents, archiving of evidence / legal agreements
• Contribute to and potentially lead projects to further improve the Client Onboarding function

You’ll be part of the global Client Service function and working in the Asset Management Client Onboarding Team in Wroclaw, Poland. As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you’ll play an important role representing UBS Asset Management towards its clients and ensuring a smooth establishment of the client relationship.

Your expertise

• Bachelor or Master degree in banking, finance, law, international business or equivalent
• Ideally you worked in a similar role previously for 3 to 5 years
• Understanding of and sound interest in financial services and instruments (e.g., bonds, securities, derivatives FX, corporate actions) and relevant involved parties
• Business fluent in English; business fluency in German, French, Italian, any other European or Asian language is an advantage
• Able to think creatively, flexibly and logically with a positive can-do attitude
• Interested in digitization and an affinity for technology
• Clear and effective communicator
