The manager also handles budgeting, policy, and resources, and is responsible for performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, and training.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 20–25 professionals (6–8 direct reports including 2 Team Leaders).
- Oversee custody account opening and FX static data setups.
- Handle customer interaction, documentation issuance, review, and system setups.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions, superior customer service, and issue resolution.
- Lead projects related to process changes, improvement, and transformation, ensuring smooth cutover with minimized risks.
- Share responsibility for budget, policy formulation, short‑term resource planning, staffing, and training.
- Evaluates subordinates’ performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, and terminations.
- Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup’s reputation.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years’ experience in Security Services (FX Ops experience welcomed).
- Excellent people‑management skills, managing a team of at least 7–8 professionals.
- Experience in process change or transformation projects.
- Demonstrated project‑management skills, including financial cost management.
- Advanced execution skills.
- Exposure to customer services; client experience highly welcomed.
- Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred.
