Client Onboarding Junior Analyst role at Citi
Overview
We’re seeking a Client Onboarding Junior Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for our clients. This role offers a professional career boost with broad experience in FX, global custody, tax implications, asset servicing, and diverse local markets.
Responsibilities
- Perform system setups based on client requirements, ensuring highest accuracy, effectiveness, and timelines.
- Verify and authorize data elements in the appropriate systems and applications.
- Co‑operate with other teams to deliver high client satisfaction through strong product, process, and client knowledge.
- Participate in projects within the account services space, collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Product Managers, Client Service, Implementation Support).
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems and features implementation.
- Develop and implement process improvements, analyzing complex issues to optimize efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Apply bank regulations while processing requests and stay up to date with current procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/University degree.
- Strong command of spoken and written English (C1 and higher).
- 2+ years of experience in a financial institution, working closely with data and system setups.
- Client onboarding or FX experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time management and problem‑solving skills.
- Analytical approach.
