The Client Intelligence Team is part of the Reinsurance Strategic Team organization. It works as a strategic and research analytical team supporting the execution of Client Management, Broker Management, Marketing, and Underwriting strategies. You will support the underwriting strategy and strategic projects for the Reinsurance segment. The Data Analyst role is key to achieving the team’s goals in client management, broker management, data strategy, and strategic research. You must demonstrate outstanding analytical skills perform data analysis on operational data from external and internal sources, interpret the, conduct root‑cause analysis, and report to stakeholders. The role requires cross‑functional collaboration to support strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a big data environment – providing analysis, metrics, and reports supporting the client management framework.
  • Understand relevant data from our systems and conduct all required data analysis.
  • Develop complex SQL scripts to retrieve data from strategic systems.
  • Create tools based on stakeholder requirements that can be leveraged by other teams and regions.
  • Use advanced analytics and future‑looking insights to deepen understanding of the client/broker portfolio and produce actionable business recommendations.
  • Employ a range of data and research tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Qlik, Python, infographics) to produce meaningful dashboards and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work independently to deliver high‑value analytics projects.
  • Handle larger‑scale projects and initiatives with broad business and key stakeholder engagement, applying technical depth and breadth of knowledge.
  • Improve existing processes through continuous improvement ideas and successful implementation.
  • Share BI & visualization expertise and best practices with colleagues across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Client Intelligence to leverage team capabilities and build a strong team footprint across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree or relevant experience (related to data administration & analysis).
  • Experience in the data area (preferred Data management or Data Quality).
  • Advanced SQL skills with a strong understanding of database structures.
  • Excellent data processing and technical skills; knowledge of Excel, SQL, BI tools, Python.
  • Expert knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps with practical experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding experience in a customer/client‑facing role collecting and analyzing data, research, surveys, and analysis.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office user, especially Word and Excel, and comfortable producing high‑quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Previous stakeholder management experience, confidently communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the business and wider group.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and demonstrate consistent delivery within agreed timescales.
  • Proven ability to manage large‑scale projects and initiatives using Agile methodology.
