Job Description Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools. This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project needs in a dynamic work environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, using finite element analyses.
- Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Proficiency in seismic structural analyses.
- Proficiency in ANSYS APDL with the ability to build detailed models, perform static and seismic runs, and develop or modify post-processing scripts.
- Proficiency in LS-DYNA is preferred.
- Computer programming skills (e.g. MATLAB, or Python) are not required, but preferred.
- Proficiency in concrete, steel and composite structures analysis and design.
- AISC/ N690 experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Polish and English, both verbal and written.

Location and Work Arrangement
The preferred work location is the GE Vernova Engineering Innovation Center in Warsaw, Poland, but highly qualified candidates will be considered with a hybrid work option.
