As a CIAM Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and user-friendly customer identity architectures. Your responsibilities will blend technical expertise with strategic leadership, enabling secure interactions while safeguarding user data and privacy. In this role, you’ll influence how customer identity is managed and trusted across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Required:

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in technology, with demonstrated expertise across multiple domains such as networking, cloud, compute/storage, endpoint computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability, paired with self-motivation and a proactive mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies, including federation standards like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Familiarity with identity lifecycle management, secure software development, and cryptographic protocols.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications, such as CISM, CISSP, or equivalents.
  • Expertise in IAM, CIAM, and ILM infrastructure, with experience in federation and integration services like AD, LDAP, or SCIM.
  • Knowledge of cloud identity considerations, including addressing threats like account hijacking, insider risks, and DoS attacks.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience, certifications, or alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered.

,[Develop and own technical strategies for Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and Customer Identity Governance & Administration (CIGA), aligned with Zero Trust Architecture principles., Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, product, and other departments to advocate for solutions that balance security with exceptional user experiences., Serve as a consultative subject matter expert, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners., Conduct industry research to stay ahead of emerging threats and regulations, such as GDPR and FCA requirements., Design, evaluate, and implement secure, enterprise-class customer identity systems in collaboration with application, security, and infrastructure teams., Document and refine standards, frameworks, and strategies for CIAM and CIGA, ensuring alignment with business needs., Lead cross-functional architecture review sessions, present initiatives, and actively manage CIAM/CIGA-related projects., Conduct security assessments and assist in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
