About The Client

Our client is a growing European fintech company operating in the payments and transaction processing sector. The company connects crypto and wire transfers within a dynamic ecosystem that includes partner networks, account management teams, and agents. With offices across Europe and Asia, the company is now entering a phase of process automation and operational scaling. Working languages: English and Russian.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will take full ownership of the company’s operational and client transaction processes, freeing the founder from day‑to‑day management. This is a hands‑on role for an operational leader with a fintech or banking background — someone who understands transaction flows, builds structured processes, and drives automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Key Account Management team to ensure smooth client operations and transaction handling.
  • Oversee and optimize transaction routes, improving efficiency and profitability.
  • Design, document, and standardize operational workflows and regulations.
  • Drive automation initiatives in collaboration with IT — CRM integration and process digitalization.
  • Manage service‑level agreements (SLA) to enhance transaction speed and quality.
  • Collaborate with finance and partner teams on transaction settlements and reconciliation.
  • Elevate the company’s operations to a structured, scalable level.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fintech, banking, or payment processing companies.
  • Deep understanding of transaction schemes, payment routes, and process optimization.
  • Strong background in building and restructuring operational systems and policies.
  • Technical mindset — ability to work closely with IT teams on automation and CRM tools.
  • Experience managing teams and implementing structured workflows.
  • Fluency in English and Russian (the role involves communication with international clients).
