What you will be doing:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a strategic, long-term information security and IT risk management program to protect company assets.
- Create and execute a long-term security strategy for the company.
- Manage budget planning related to security initiatives.
- Implement awareness programs to promote security culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and communicate risk levels.
- Identify, evaluate, and report security risks and practices to executive management and the board, providing expertise on standards such as TISAX, ISO 27001, PCI.
- Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with ISO27001 and TISAX, ensuring compliance with laws and contractual requirements.
- Champion security awareness and foster a security-conscious culture.
- Oversee the evaluation and deployment of security solutions that are cost-effective and minimally disruptive.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure security policies are integrated into technology development and maintenance.
- Manage security incident response, vulnerability assessments, and audits.
- Develop metrics to measure security program effectiveness and maturity.
- Monitor industry threats and advise stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and advisory bodies as needed.
- Lead investigations into security breaches and manage related disciplinary and legal issues.
Youre a good match if you have:
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional security management certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, Lead Auditor).
- Knowledge of security management frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001 or TISAX.
- Hands-on experience implementing security management frameworks and obtaining relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication skills and high integrity.
- Innovative leadership and ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with vendor negotiations and managed services.
- Supervisory and incident management skills.
