About Our Client

For our client, a leading financial institution, we are looking for a Chief Information Officer. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy aligned with the organizations business goals, managing IT teams, and ensuring the scalability and security of the technological infrastructure. They will also identify new technologies, support IT project execution, and collaborate with other departments within the company.

Job Description

• Building and leading the organizational structure of the IT Division.
• Developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with the companys business objectives.
• Identifying new technologies and trends that could bring value to the organization.
• Overseeing the scalability and security of the companys technological infrastructure, as well as protecting data and systems from cyber threats.
• Collaborating with other departments and traveling across Poland to ensure the successful execution of IT projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience working in a bank or other financial institution with regulatory oversight.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with complex, diverse IT teams.
• Higher education (preferably in STEM + business training; MBA is a plus).
• Experience in the banking, telecommunications, or consulting sectors (preferably for banking or telecommunications).
• A solution-oriented mindset, ability to motivate employees, and a commitment to creating a modern work environment that enhances organizational efficiency.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
