About Our Client
We are currently leading an executive search for a Chief Financial Officer - Board Member on behalf of our client, a modern and dynamically growing holding company with a complex organizational structure. We are looking for an experienced financial leader who will act as a strategic business partner to the Management Board and the General Manager, playing a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting decision-making process.
Job Description
- Act as a key business partner to the General Manager and senior leadership, providing clear insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business performance
- Manage and develop a team across finance, accounting, controlling, and related areas
- Shape and implement the financial strategy in line with the companys overall goals
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business plans
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and turn them into practical actions
- Monitor and manage financial risks, including credit and currency exposure
- Support cost control and help teams across the organization use resources effectively
- Oversee monthly and yearly financial closing, ensuring reports are delivered on time and meet required standards
- Build a culture of ownership, transparency, and ongoing improvement within the team
- Help improve systems and processes to support better financial visibility and faster decision-making
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role - in a holding or capital group
- Proficiency in English (C1)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to think strategically
- Proactive, reliable, and guided by high professional standards
- Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to a fast-changing business environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and lead teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence in working across functions and at senior levels
