In the transformation to SAP S/4HANA, achieving speed in a high number of parallel deployment and rollout activities is key. Particular focus is on high efficiency & automation of the deployment toolchain, which is comprised of several toolchain components and specific tools for configuration management, data migration, testing, and others. An optimal toolchain contributes to reduction of deployment time, efficient resource & competence allocation and repeatable quality in deployments. A dedicated "Chief Architect S/4HANA Deployment Toolchain" ensures that IT-related requirements to the toolchain, its components and interfaces are fulfilled in the best possible way.
responsibilities :
Definition of top-level toolchain requirements as basis of an efficient and automated deployment toolchain for SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to understand their deployment requirements and challenges.
Ensuring that the toolchain meets scalability, reliability, and quality requirements with seamless integration of related IT tools & services
Feature evaluation, selection and integration of appropriate tools and technologies for configuration management, data migration, testing, and other components of the toolchain.
Creating and maintaining standards, guidelines, and best practices for the deployment toolchain.
Providing technical leadership and support to project teams in the use and optimization of the deployment toolchain and its components.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the deployment toolchain and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborating with internal providers, vendors and external partners to stay updated on the latest developments in deployment toolchain technologies.
