The team consists of two experienced colleagues, with whom you will work closely, and all team members report directly to the Finance Director. We work in a **hybrid system**, combining office and remote work for flexibility.While many financial processes are handled by our Corporate Shared Services (CSS) team, we focus on local and group reporting, tax compliance, and overseeing CSS operations. We ensure accurate financial processes for the **Polish company** and its five branches in Europe.If you share our values of open communication, collaboration and professionalism, we warmly invite you to join us.**In this role you’ll make an impact by:**As a Chief Accountant, you will oversee tax processes, financial reporting, and the preparation of financial statements to ensure compliance with local and group requirements.**Main tasks include:*** Supervising tax processes (VAT, CIT, and other obligations).* Preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations.* Managing local and group reporting.* Taking care of our 5 branches (Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Hungary and Serbia)**To succeed you must hold:**We are looking for a candidate with strong accounting expertise and an ownership mindset, who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.**Requirements:*** Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in large multinational companies.* University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* Very good knowledge of Polish tax regulations (VAT, CIT), the Polish Accounting Act, and experience in preparing JPK-VAT declarations and full financial statements.* Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.* **Fluent Polish and English (B2 level or higher)**.* Knowledge of IFRS (MSSF) will be an asset.**What you can expect:*** 3 months probation contract full time to start* Company phone* Medical package* Multisport co-financing 50%* Life insurance and provate pension (after probation period)**Personal skills:**Strong organizational and analytical skills, precision, and a proactive approach are essential.
