Manage all accounting across the legal entity operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. This includes direct responsibility and oversight of accounting performed in other teams.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the legal entity forecasts and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements in line with local and US GAAP.
Manage and comply with all local reporting requirements.
Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings, reconciliations, posting to GL, Fixed Assets, AP, AR, Inventory and Cash accounting.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Support GL Team Leader and R2R Manager to develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements.
Provide periodic internal and external reports and support ad hoc data requests from management or markets.
Responsible for compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure a robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting.
Proficiency in English.
Very good knowledge, insight, and experience in financial accounting USGAAP, IFRS, local GAAP principles.
Proven 5+ years of working experience in a similar role.
Ability to leverage and build on ERP skills to ensure operational excellence and service quality.
Good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access) and hands-on experience with SAP.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
