For our client, we are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant who will take ownership of full accounting operations, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting to the parent company.
- General ledger control, account reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy of all entries.
- Correct booking of documents and preparation of tax declarations.
- Reporting to NBP, GUS, Intrastat, and KSSE.
- Supervision of KSeF implementation and training of team members.
- Optimization of accounting processes and preparation of accounting policies.
- Production cost analysis, fixed asset accounting, and accrual postings.
- Review of company agreements and recommendations for updates.
- Monitoring changes in accounting and tax regulations.
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Cooperation with auditors, law firms, advisory companies, financial institutions, and KSSE.
- Ensuring data security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Several years of experience in independent accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting and cooperation with external institutions.
- Very good English skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems; Excel proficiency.
- Experience with KSeF is a strong advantage.
