Chief Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Managing full accounting books in accordance with accounting and tax regulations
• Preparation of financial statements
• Compiling transfer pricing documentation
• Preparation of consolidated and standalone financial statement according to the Polish Accounting Act
• Preparation of real estate tax declarations
• Responsible for month and year end closing process
• Calculation of CIT statements according to Economic Zone regulations and responsibility for timely implementation
• Preparation of GUS, NBP reporting
• Supervising fixed assets
• Monitoring financial liquidity and preparing forecasts
• Preparation of reports on activities in the Special Economic Zone
• Cooperation with control institutions, tax administration, external and internal auditors and other;
• Supervising the proper circulation of documents, the payment process, and coordinating debt collection activities
• Optimizing processes in the accounting department
• Managing the work of the subordinate accountant team
• Adjusting system to changing regulations
• Cooperation with other departments

Our requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Chief Accountant in a production facility
• Experience working in an international company
• Accounting experience in the area of tax settlements in a special economic zone
• Experience with start to finish accounting processes
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar field
• Practical knowledge of tax and accounting regulations
• Communication skills, reliability, effective time management, multitasking
• Great attention to details
• Very good knowledge of English
• Very good MS skills knowledge, especially Excel
• Knowledge of the AX Dynamics system will be an asset
