We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our Client's dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire accounting department.
- Ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations and standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local tax laws, including VAT and CIT.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Polish accounting regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Expertise in VAT and CIT tax regulations.
