Chief Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the Company's full accounting in accordance with the Accounting Act and tax law
• Responsibility for accounting policy, chart of accounts, circulation of accounting documents
• Preparation of tax returns (VAT, CIT, JPK, withholding tax, etc.) and other reports for external institutions (CSO)
• Responsibility for the preparation of the financial statements and cooperation with the auditor
• Cooperation with the Shared Service department located outside Poland with regard to the application of accepted accounting principles
• Cooperation with external institutions (banks, tax office, customs office, GUS), company management and internal departments within the organization
• Supervision of accounting, tax and financial aspects of the organization’s activities
• Monitoring of changes in tax laws and their ongoing implementation

Our requirements

• University degree in economics, accounting or finance
• 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years as Chief Accountant/Chief Accountant
• Very good knowledge of tax law, the Accounting Act, and other legislation enabling work in the profession
• Experience of working with ERP systems (SAP)
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Preferably experience in a company with a production and commercial profile
• Other soft and interpersonal skills helpful in working in a large organization
• Responsibility, commitment and reliability in carrying out assigned tasks
• Focus on details and efficiency
• Very good knowledge of English
