We are looking for a Chief Accountant as a business partner for a Germany-based company, supporting both production and commercial teams!

What we expect

• Master degree in Finance or Accounting,
• Previous experience in production/project environment is must requirement [at least 3 years of relevant experience in this field,
• Understanding of standard costing, manufacturing variances etc.,
• Fluent in English (C1 level),
• Fluent in German (C1 level) – nice to have,
• Analytical skills and business acumen

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel), Power BI, Power query, ERP systems.

Your tasks

• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure optimal performance,
• Lead and monitor the progress of Month-End Close activities related to finance, ensuring accruals and provisions are accurately calculated and processed in accordance with company requirements,
• Oversee and review the quality of balance sheet account reconciliations,
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly management reports for stakeholders,
• Monitor and analyze construction project revenues and costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Oversee data management and ensure accurate data entry into corporate reporting tools (e.g., Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Overheads),
• Generate various analytical and financial reports to support business operations,
• Support the CFO with ad hoc tasks and special projects as needed,

• Draft financial statements or provide inputs for tax reporting to internal service providers as required.
