Your responsibilities
- Coordination of the design process and management of the team activities coordinating technical and technological issues in the mechanical and process areas.
- Development and implementation of chemistry strategies to ensure safe operation and the long-term integrity of structures, systems, and components.
- Cooperation in the development and implementation of standards for the use and storage of chemicals on site.
- Preparation of tender documentation and participation in procurement procedures for selecting contractors for infrastructure projects.
- Cooperation in defining and developing the organizational structure for the area of chemistry, including defining roles and responsibilities.
- Supervision of equipment, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with OHS regulations in the planning and delivery of chemistry-related projects.
- Supporting technical training units/teams.
- Development of procedures for the area of chemistry.
- Reviewing and evaluating technical documentation related to chemical solutions for industrial or energy projects.
- Conducting and coordinating activities to obtain sectoral approvals/consents throughout the construction and operation phases of industrial or energy projects.
- Monitoring, reporting, and controlling project delivery within the assigned area across all project stages (preparation, design, and construction).
- Participation in the acceptance/handover of equipment and installations from contractors.
- Building and developing own competencies and collaborating effectively within the team.
Our requirements
- University degree, preferably in Chemical Technology, Chemical or Process Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Experience in delivering large energy or industrial projects, preferably in an EPC model, is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the chemistry area (in energy or industry sector).
- At least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Knowledge of regulations in chemistry and radiochemistry.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level, spoken and written.
- In accordance with the Company’s regulations, each new employee must hold a security clearance authorizing access to classified information marked at least as “confidential”, or be willing to undergo a security clearance procedure to obtain appropriate security clearance authorizing access to classified information.
