The Chapter Lead Scrum Master combines line management of Scrum Masters with thought leadership in Agile practices, driving excellence and fostering professional growth throughout the organization. This role ensures alignment with strategic objectives by supporting a dedicated Portfolio or Tribe. As a Chapter Lead, you focus on three key areas: line management, collaboration across Functions, Portfolios, and Tribes, and shaping the Chapter capabilities.

Line Management
recruiting developing, and retaining top talent to meet the needs of the Functions, Portfolios, Tribes and ensuring optimal performance
leading, inspiring, and motivating team members to achieve their best individually and as a cohesive team
overseeing performance management by setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting regular performance reviews
promoting and demonstrating organizational values and behaviours, acting as a role model for others
facilitating people development through coaching, mentoring, career discussions, and individual development plans (PDPs)
stimulating knowledge sharing within and beyond the Chapter to drive continuous learning and organizational growth
driving an inclusive, diverse, and trustful environment, empowering teams and individuals
Tribe/Portfolio/Function Collaboration
ensuring alignment with Agile Ways of Working, organizational goals, and enterprise standards
acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Tribe or Function, addressing concerns and initiatives
driving content and ways of working topics, relevant above teams within Portfolio/Tribe
driving harmonized ways of working, best practice sharing and continuous improvement agenda above teams in the portfolio/tribe
Chapter Strategy
shaping Chapter vision and objectives
driving topics including (but not limited to) standard roles & responsibilities, processes for successful SM assignments, communication on value delivery across chapter, harmonized ways of working in teams across chapter
defining and communicating goals that align Chapter objectives with organizational OKRs and strategic priorities
collaborating with stakeholders to shape and execute strategies that drive organizational success
enhancing Chapter competence through targeted training, development initiatives, and skills-building activities
developing leadership skills to inspire and guide the Chapter effectively.
requirements-expected :
at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master working with multiple teams
in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position in the IT field
proven ability to adjust priorities in response to dynamically changing business needs
experience working with culturally diverse and geographically dispersed teams
strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and foster open communication
excellent communication, problem-solving, facilitation, and influencing skills
exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
proactive, independent, and action-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude.
