The Project Kuiper Europe Consumer Business is looking for a talented individual to lead the Central and Eastern Europe consumer business. This role is responsible for launching, scaling, and operating the residential broadband service for the CEE region.
A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at understanding how businesses work in the CEE region. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop the go-to-market strategy, business models, and distribution plans to launch the Project Kuiper residential broadband service in CEE
- Analyze, develop, and recommend consumer service plans, solutions, and models
- Engage in business development efforts and contract negotiations required to launch residential broadband service in CEE
- Develop bottom-up operating plans, pricing strategy, and demand forecasts
- Deliver comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
- Prepare detailed business cases for justification of new opportunities
- Partner with legal, tax and regulatory to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts
- Once operational, meet business goals, and deliver a fantastic customer experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
- Extensive experience of launching and scaling new technology products, services, or businesses
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy with partners
