About The Role

Gitsy is a fast-growing e-commerce platform specializing in gift cards, prepaid money and other digital products. We are looking for a Category Manager to take ownership of sourcing new distributors, negotiating the best commercial terms, managing supplier relations, and supporting our expansion into new markets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in category management, business development, procurement, or supplier management, ideally in digital products or gift cards.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain long‑term business relationships.
  • Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Solid organizational and analytical skills; detail‑oriented and reliable in managing multiple partners.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Fluent in English (other languages such as Polish, Spanish or German are a plus).
  • Proactive, goal‑oriented mindset with interest in e‑commerce, fintech, or digital distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Negotiations: Identify and onboard new distributors and digital content providers to align with market demand; negotiate commercial terms and pricing to secure competitive deals and maximise profitability.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build relationships with distributors and digital content providers to identify new products; work with partners to ensure strategic alignment and develop promotional campaigns to drive sales.
  • Contracts & Compliance: Coordinate contract negotiations and signing processes together with Legal and Finance teams; prepare and deliver product documentation for distributor approvals.
  • Operational Management: Monitor distributors balances and payment schedules; oversee invoices and ensure timely settlements.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Content, Finance & Accounting teams to provide materials and information needed for business growth and compliance.
  • Market Expansion: Support the company’s expansion strategy by researching, qualifying and establishing partnerships with local distributors and content providers in new markets, broadening our product portfolio.
