Group Sourcing and Procurement manages a global spend of EUR 2 bn on behalf of the ROCKWOOL Group. You will become part of the Indirect team, currently located in Denmark and Poland, managing a global spend of 290 MEUR covering Digital, Facility, Travel, Marketing, Waste handling, Industrial Cleaning, Development Projects, Material Handling Equipment and more while supporting the development of industry 4.0 manufacturing and further digitalisation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Strategically manage the assigned global portfolio according to the agreed end‑to‑end procurement process, contributing to profitability, securing supply and mitigating risks in close cooperation with ROCKWOOL factories.
  • Support global strategies for your categories; focus on optimal supplier choice while ensuring sustainability in the procurement process, aligning with human‑rights and environmental impact guidelines.
  • Lead cross‑functional competence centres within assigned areas, promoting communication, volume bundling, lean sourcing and best‑practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (OPCO/Group Functions and GSP Regional organisation) to align sourcing activities and projects on scope, timeline and expected benefits.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects to mature the procurement function and influence policies and local strategies.
  • Develop a 5‑quarter rolling activity plan based on category strategies and stakeholder needs.
  • Review all spend in the assigned area at least once every three years to ensure competitive conditions.
  • Run sourcing activities in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing Team and the regional Purchasing team.
  • Collect and communicate market information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular updates (minimum quarterly) for key stakeholders on achievements and upcoming activities.
  • Support non‑category colleagues in procurement activities, sharing best practices to achieve competitive results.
  • Travel up to 30 days per year.

What You Bring

  • Commercial business education (or similar) and procurement experience in category management.
  • Experience in procurement strategy, contracting, negotiation, and tenders at a global level (ideally 5+ years).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information and expectations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within challenging or changing timelines and deadlines.
  • Strong motivation to find opportunities and create results in a fast‑changing business environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT systems.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Valid driver’s licence.
