Manages assigned category within the global Category Management (CM) function and coordinates the category strategy development. Responsible for ensuring strategies, procurement channels and contracts are in place to meet operational and technical demands, compliant to optimized processes in SIRIUS, with contract “fit for purpose”, optimized value creation and in accordance with required legislations and regulations.

Profile:

1. Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred or equivalent business experience
2. Experience within Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Category Management
3. Excellent written and verbal communication English skills
4. Project Management skills with experience in running global strategic sourcing projects with a track record of cost savings
5. Great Stakeholder management skills with experience in finding the right balance between challenging and supporting key stakeholders
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to find and analyze data. Knowledge of how to analyze data with Excel, ERP extracts (SQL), Power BI etc.

Responsibility:

1. Managing and supporting the activities related to Category Management together with Key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunities
2. Developing specific Category Management strategies which are sensitive to operational needs, customer requirements, regulatory issues, and market opportunities
3. Leading and managing global sourcing to contract projects in an organization under constant change
4. Managing your own Indirect and Direct categories with the responsibility of developing and implementing global category management strategies
5. Identifying and implementing cost initiatives with focus on stakeholder satisfaction while challenging the status quo
6. Supporting the day-to-day activities ensuring that value of category management is visible to all stakeholders (contract management, first point of contact, coordination of activities, vendor management, escalation to suppliers etc.)
7. Category management and strategies for assigned procurement category
8. Coordination with Contract Manager
9. Supplier Relationship Management for Level 1 suppliers in category
10. Accountable for performance and results of the assigned category
