Responsibilities
- Lead global sourcing for advisory/consulting and executive search; set coverage models per region/BU and establish tiered Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs).
- Define category strategies aligned to business growth and capability needs.
- Collect BUs requirements and coordinate key supplier management across regions when needed.
- Design and negotiate fee/rate models: retainers, success fees, day rates, mark-ups, outcome‑based SoWs, service credits, replacement guarantees, and volume tiers.
- Run competitive events/negotiations; benchmark markets and harmonize terms globally.
- Support implementation of guided buying (ERP/PowerApps touchpoints), catalogs/punchouts for fixed services or products and compliant spot-buy/tail aggregator models.
- Reduce maverick spend, increase contract coverage, and shorten intake →PO cycle times across BUs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate ideas, align category strategies, and meet business objectives.
- Partner with HR and other Business Partners on demand signals; with Legal/Finance on templates, approvals, budgets, and savings validation.
- Align global standards with local regulations; provide clear buying channels and change‑management support.
- Consolidate suppliers, enable catalogs/marketplace, standardize low‑value buying, and raise no‑touch PO coverage.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in indirect procurement with depth in Professional Services and HR and other indirect categories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop group‑wide procurement frameworks.
- Analytical mindset for market analysis, benchmarking, and spend visibility.
- Experience in identifying and leveraging cross‑functional synergies.
- Deep knowledge of consulting services e.g., tax/audit, interim, contingency and executive search markets; supplier landscape, typical scopes, risk points, and when to use boutiques vs. global firms.
- Strong procurement process knowledge and proven end‑to‑end delivery of complex sourcing events, including direct negotiations and panel setup with Big Four firms and other market‑leading providers.
- Proven experience in building PSLs/panels, run competitive events, negotiations on global levels.
- Able to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple initiatives in a high‑throughput environment.
- Comfortable with spend cubes and KPI dashboards; hands‑on with ERP (SAP) and Excel/Power BI.
- Strong negotiation skills and working knowledge of MSAs/SLAs/SoWs; able to partner effectively with Legal.
- Solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and benefits realization (P&L, cashflow, TCO). Understanding of commercial design: outcome‑based SoWs, harmonized rate cards, retainers/success fees/day rates, service credits, replacement guarantees.
- Familiar with privacy (e.g., GDPR), information security basics, and third‑party risk.
