Join us to play your part in growing our business and its positive impact on communities, society and the planet. **Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź** is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT* Prepare and/or support preparation of RFI/RFQ, Sourcing strategy and Contract To Award documentation within supported categories* Manage & award low value/risk contracts (< $250k) in respective categories* Enter purchase orders on to system, and ensure the system is maintained where appropriate.* Enter Outline Agreements/Scheduling Agreements on to SAP system and ensure regular maintenance* Control & compliance* Analysis of spend* Identify opportunities/ efficiencies* Maintain contracts in contract data base* Collect and analyse data ensuring accuracy and data quality* Support business and procurement stakeholders with preparation of material for monthly meetings and dashboards as needed* Assist in the development of category strategies and plans including but not limited to working with Category Teams to provide streamlined data analysis* Monitor and maintain data and output to ensure we are maximizing value from internal and external systems* Interpret and apply the Global Procurement Procedures and Policies* Lead cost reduction initiatives and help ensure savings targets are met.* Challenge business requirements and specification where appropriate to deliver best value.* Ensure on-time delivery and quality targets are met.* Be involved with supplier selection, rationalisation and reduction.* Manage supplier relationships in a capable, thorough and professional manner.* Delivering accurate management information for the Procurement function to support Global projects and the Business as Usual.* University degree in related field* Fluent English* Business Acumen* Problem Solving* Dealing with Ambiguity* Time Management* Action Oriented* Drives for Results* Political Savvy* Negotiating* Presentation Skills* Comfort Around Higher Management* Negotiating* German is an advantage* Basic understanding of the Procurement and buying cycle.* Procurement related experience (approx. 5 years)* Systems experience within SAP ECC, other environment would be advantageous or willingness to learn.* Positive outlook, confident and enjoys meeting and working with new people.* Confident when dealing with suppliers* An understanding of the Supplier market for low value purchases.* Monitoring supplier performance.* Contract negotiation and understanding of drafting.* Standard written, verbal communication and presentation skills* Extensive development opportunities and programs (vertical & horizontal promotions, foreign assignments, projects, broad range of internal & external training)* Private medical care, including dental care* MyBenefit Platform, including Multisport* Lunch subsidy* Work from home benefits package* Languages assistance program* Personal trainer* Life Insurance* LinkedIn Learning Platform access* Employee Assistance Program (an online platform to support your well-being) and Mental Wellness University* Possibility to participate in various programs & projects, including activities in Charity Team, First Aid Team, Emergency Team, Active Team and Eco Team* Last but not least: Work in a welcoming, stimulating, and energetic environment where you can unleash your potentialOur purpose, *Improving Lives for Generations*, inspires everything we do.
