Responsibilities

  • Plan, structure and execute sourcings in close collaboration with internal stakeholders:
    • Collect and analyse data
    • Optimise and agree on specifications
    • Issue Requests for Information (RfI) and Request for Quotation (RfQ)
    • Conduct negotiations
    • Prepare sourcing decisions (Pre‑RfQ and Sourcing Committee)
    • Finalize contracts
  • Identify, propose and implement cost savings
    • Initiate cross‑BG cost‑saving initiatives and workshops
    • Plan savings initiatives in the savings tracking tool
    • Drive implementation from idea status to realising status
  • Supplier relationship management
    • Ensure correctness and completeness of supplier data in our systems
    • Manage supplier risk (financial and CSR)
    • Lead escalation process in case of supply problems

Requirements

  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Management Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a purchasing department in an international and preferably industrial environment
  • Project management skills: experience in planning and executing sourcing projects
  • Negotiation skills: strong negotiation capabilities to secure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Category management expertise in managing indirect spend to optimise costs and value
  • Supplier risk management ability to assess and mitigate supplier risks, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements
  • Data analysis proficiency for informed decision‑making and cost‑saving opportunities
  • Excellent relationship management to build and maintain effective supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Leadership to drive sourcing project teams to exceptional results
  • Communication skills: clear and effective communication of procurement strategies and decisions to stakeholders
  • Problem‑solving: strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address procurement challenges and implement innovative solutions
  • Fluent in English and Polish
