about-project :
Collaborating with the developers, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions aimed at enhancing the database stack.
The project is for a global leader in electronic payments, providing innovative technological solutions for the financial sector. It specializes in delivering advanced payment services that help businesses execute secure and efficient transactions worldwide.
responsibilities :
Introducing Cassandra into a previously SQL Server-only environment
Setting up and maintaining a multi-datacenter cluster
Participating in the design, implementation, and operation of solutions to enhance the database stack in collaboration with developers
Performing daily operational tasks, and enhancing and automating database operations
Improving the monitoring and alerting stack of application databases
Providing tools to enable developers to become autonomous in daily data operations
Participating in rotating on-call duties
requirements-expected :
Excellent knowledge of Cassandra
Familiarity with data modeling for Cassandra
Knowledge of Bash
Good understanding of various GIT flows
Very good communication skills in English
Fluent Polish required
