Your responsibilities

  • Client Relationship & Business Development: Actively partner with Relationship Managers to engage existing clients, deepen relationships, and proactively anticipate future cash management needs, challenges, or risks. Identify and pursue new client opportunities that align with Citis value proposition.
  • Strategic Advisory & Solution Innovation: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Relationship Managers and clients, driving innovative cash management solutions. Structure deals effectively to balance client objectives with prudent risk and reward considerations.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Share expertise, market insights, and best practices with sales colleagues and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
  • Strategic Execution: Lead and execute key strategic initiatives within the cash management sales function, driving measurable outcomes.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure continuous adherence to all regulatory requirements and Citis internal policies and guidelines. Proactively assess and manage risks in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.

Our requirements

  • 6-10+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking or cash management sales.
  • Demonstrated success in growing and developing client relationships within a complex financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of cash management products, services, and market trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Masters degree preferred.
