As aCash Collection Specialist with German, you will be responsible for managing and executing collection activities, ensuring timely payments, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication with both customers and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong customer service orientation, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while being a part of an international team.

YOU WILL

  • Perform daily collection activities in line with priorities set by the debt collection system.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts, secure payments, and record all interactions in the system.
  • Build a solid understanding of customer profiles and sensitivities to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Communicate delinquency information to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader and Sales, following escalation procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve unidentified payments and payment-related issues in cooperation with the Global Cash Application Team.
  • Manage disputes, collect necessary documentation, and assign cases to relevant owners.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate them for root cause analysis.
  • Keep up to date with AR best practices and technology improvements.

YOU NEED

  • Fluency inGerman (C1)and very good knowledge ofEnglish.
  • At least2 years of experiencein Collections or Accounts Receivable, preferably on the German market.
  • Practical knowledge ofaccounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with accounting and cash application software is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – proactive, open, solution-oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
