The role will focus on managing a high performing development team while delivering innovative products and services for our growing business needs.

Designing complex systems, resolving challenging problems, and advising other staff members in technical design.
Delivery of critical application meeting business requirements, at high quality and within given deadlines.
Leading projects from requirements through implementation.
Coaching and mentoring of team members as well as refinement of software development processes.
Developing maintainable, well-documented application functionality with an eye toward standardization, common components, simplicity, performance, robustness, and other enterprise-strength solutions.
Contributing technical expertise to defining application requirements in collaboration with business analysts, business representatives and others.
Creating proofs of concept or prototypes if required; contributing to technical design of applications; contributing to database / data model design.
Quickly resolving issues encountered by business lines in the production environment, maintaining a helpful, "high touch" approach to working with business users, performing root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and performance tuning.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
7+ years technical solutions experience and relevant software development experience.
Experience in financial services sector required.
Experience leading a team and guiding developers to deliver business value.
Willingness to take responsibility and be a driving force within a project.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Deep understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture principles.
Strong backend development skills, including Java and related frameworks for building multi-tiered, service-oriented web applications: Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JMS, JPA, JAX-*.
Front-end development expertise, with practical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular, for building single-page applications with extended diagnostic capabilities.
Knowledge of mobile application technologies is a plus.
Experience managing API integrations, authentication protocols (SSO, OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.
Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
Solid background in automated testing, including unit testing frameworks and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality releases.
Experience with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL and performance tuning of SQL queries, is a plus.
