Description

Amazon’s EU Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is looking for a highly motivated Candidate Engagement Manager focused on furthering Amazon’s culture of inclusivity through tailored hiring programs that support under‑represented talent pools. Meeting program goals will be successfully achieved through influencing internally and engaging externally. As a Candidate Engagement Manager on the team, you will work across Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic to develop and implement project plans that support under‑represented groups of job seekers, enabling them to access Amazon roles. You will dive deep to understand the customer and potential support programs – which may involve current candidates, job seekers, employees, external vendors and government entities. You will actively identify gaps and opportunities where barriers to inclusion currently exist, and influence and align key business partners and stakeholders to implement changes that create opportunity parity. The successful candidate will be a talented problem‑solver who enjoys tackling ambiguous challenges and ultimately creating a new candidate pipeline for the business. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment and want to build something new, comfortable with ambiguity and capable of creating direction where none previously existed.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver on Amazon’s key disability initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to define and implement best practices and standards; own program procedure documentation while serving as the point of contact for any assigned program.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert to improve the quality of key partnerships (internal and external).
  • Build and foster candidate engagement and sourcing strategies, demonstrating return on investment with data from internal functions such as PxT, public policy, internal and external communications.

About the Team

This is a role within the Candidate Engagement Team (CE). The team operates across Europe, creating opportunities for candidates to access Amazon roles who benefit from additional support a specific hiring program. The team partners with organisations specialised in providing support to external candidates, removing barriers and setting up pre‑hire and post‑hire support.

Basic Qualifications

  • Evidence of working with varied teams and stakeholders, and the ability to influence upwards.
  • Previous experience partnering with external stakeholders—including government, councils and other strategic partners—and acting as a company representative at events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects and programmes, and an understanding of full end‑to‑end project management.
  • Self‑starter, comfortable in an ambiguous and fast‑paced environment, able to pivot on priorities in a continually changing environment to ensure business needs are met.
  • Understanding of internal and external factors that might influence programme support and structure.
  • Familiar with current recruitment trends and routes to market, including both offline and online attraction and engagement strategies.
