We are looking for a long-term employee who will support us in the following area:
R&D on Windows and Active Directory Security
Rublon’s research & development activities on Windows and Active Directory security will enable us to develop new solutions for passwordless multi-factor authentication in these environments. This is a greenfield project.

What You’ll Do
As a C++ Windows Security Engineer on the Rublon team you will help develop software for modern user authentication:
- Perform security research on authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, SMB)
- Research on Windows and Windows Server security
- Research on MFA integration possibilities with Windows and Windows Server
- Research on Active Directory security
- Research on Kerberos and NTLM authentication protocol security
- Research on MFA integration possibilities with Active Directory
- Research on usage of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) on Windows for secure user authentication
- Research on usage of Bluetooth on Windows for secure user authentication
- Develop enterprise software solutions for Windows user authentication
- Development takes place locally on your company laptop as well as on external testing environments
- Analyze requirements, create concepts and discuss them with the project and product manager
- Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
- Design, implement and execute development and integration tests
Skills You Have
- Experience with reverse engineering and tools like IDA Free/Pro, Ghidra
- Experience with Windows software development (e.g. C++)
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and GPO
- Knowledge of Windows API
- Knowledge of Kerberos and NTLM authentication protocols
- Knowledge of Windows technical security standards and internal controls
- Familiarity with VBA and PowerShell scripting
- Ability to confidently communicate with peers
- Knowledge of Polish or English language
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Rest and/or C# programming language(s)
- Experience with Qt development framework
- Formal education and advanced degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar and/or commensurate demonstrated work experience in the same
- Knowledge of software application security
- Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
