You will join an international engineering team responsible for developing and integrating software for Android Automotive OS (AAOS) — Google’s native operating system for vehicles. Your daily work will involve C++ development, Android system-level features, communication with ECUs, and cooperation with cross-functional teams working on HMI, vehicle connectivity, multimedia, and user experience.
responsibilities :
Develop, integrate, and maintain software components for Android Automotive OS and Android Auto
Implement system-level and middleware functionalities using modern C++ (C++11/14/17)
Work with AOSP components, Android Framework, Android HAL layers, and system services
Develop and extend JNI bindings between Android (Java/Kotlin) and native C++ modules
Integrate infotainment features with ECUs, sensors, audio systems, connectivity components (BT/Wi-Fi), and in-vehicle communication networks
Debugging, profiling, and performance optimization of Android and native layers
Work in CI/CD environments using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, CMake or Bazel
Follow automotive processes including ASPICE, code reviews, documentation, and test traceability
requirements-expected :
Proven experience working with Android at system or platform level: Android Automotive OS (AAOS) Android Auto AOSP development HAL / NDK / JNI
Good understanding of Linux and embedded systems
Experience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows
Ability to work within structured automotive processes (ASPICE, V-model, traceability)
Very good English (B2+) for communication in international teams
Openess for a hybrid (2-3 days from office) mode of work from Kraków
