Position: C++ Software Development Engineer

Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software. Our software tools enable companies around the world to develop highly innovative electronic products faster and more cost-effectively. Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.

As a C++ Software Development Engineer, you will participate in developing breakthrough Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software, which is used by our customers to create a variety of amazing products, from smartphones to satellite systems. We believe in Agile development, so our teams are expected to be self-sufficient and perform without the classical management structure. Furthermore, these teams foster a culture that allows everyone to express their views, be a contributor, and grow as a professional.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop new competitive functionalities and support the existing software solutions.
2. Analyze requirements and contribute to all levels of the architecture and development.
3. Work on large scale software development using industry standard software development and source code management tools.
4. Ensure appropriate quality of software by creating automated tests on a regular basis and then maintaining them.
5. Participate in software design, code reviews, and technical documentation creation.
6. Collaborate within and outside your Scrum team in an international environment.
7. Grow professionally together with your teammates.

Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in C++11/C++14/C++17
2. Experience in development of desktop applications for Windows
3. Python
4. Boost
5. Googletest (gtest)

7. Visual Studio 2022
8. Software quality assurance
9. Jenkins
10. Excellent analytical skills
11. Ability to work with a team in a dynamic environment.
