The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems. Currently, we are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our clients in the banking industry. responsibilities :
Developing risk models for broad classes of financial and operational Client risk
Setting standards and providing mission-critical, cutting-edge tools to help identify, measure, and manage risk, as well as enhance enterprise-wide compliance across Client
Being responsible for working with the Traded Risk Financial Engineering team
Robust developing and maintaining of a quantitative library, which includes risk models and methodologies that are under remit of the GRA Traded and Operational (TnO) Risk Analytics team
Developing a quantitative pricing library in C++ and a low-latency pricing library written in C++ and gRPC
Closely collaborating with GRA Quantitative Modellers, IT teams, and Front Office to create synergies across different functions and departments
Working with Counterparty Credit Risk modelling team and developers from Financial Engineering
Automating regression testing
requirements-expected :
Experience with the full end-to-end software lifecycle and with Test Driven Development, testing frameworks and procedures (for example C++, CMake, Python)
Familiarity with application debugging and performance tuning in C++
Knowledge of the gRPC protocol and related HTTP-based APIs
Expertise in cloud technologies
An independent candidate who can collaborate with various stakeholders in an international team
Openness to work from the office in Cracow 3 times a month
Residing in Poland required
