We are looking for C++ Embedded Developers to join a newly formed project team. The team works on software for multi‑gas detectors used in the industrial sector.

By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center, an internal organizational unit with over 500 specialists nationwide. We manage about 100 projects for 50 clients across automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical industries.

Your Tasks

• Develop software for multi-gas detectors following established safety standards.
• Implement new code in C++17, among others.
• Write unit tests.
• Create technical documentation.
• Work in accordance with Agile.
• Collaborate with the client and share knowledge with other team members in your area of expertise.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in embedded software development in C++ (14+).
• Experience with microcontrollers and RTOS.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Good English (minimum B2).
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Openness to business travel; on-site implementation in Germany, traveling 3–4 months per year for a few days.

Nice to have

• Experience in functional safety and low-energy device development.
• Previous work in the regulated industry.
• Familiarity with CMake, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, NFC, TouchGFX.
