The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together almost 500 specialists. We are currently looking for a C++ Software Engineer. The candidate will work on System Control and HMI software for products such as heat pumps, boilers, and system solutions.
responsibilities :
Delivering customer-centric solutions through fast integration, continuous testing and impactful demonstrations
Developing and maintaining C++ based embedded software (Embedded Linux) for heating system control
Developing and extending SW architecture (collaborating with architecture and other teams)
Integrating with the system architecture via SomeIP communication
Performing unit testing (Google Test)
Working and collaborating in agile teams in order to meet sprint goals
requirements-expected :
Strong C++ programming (object–oriented)
Minimum 5 years of embedded Linux development
Familiarity with SomeIP communication protocols
Knowledge of testing frameworks: Google Test, Robot Framework
Experience with Agile development
English or German proficiency
Openness to business trips
Openness to hybrid work from the office in Katowice
Fluent in Polish required
Residing in Poland required
