Responsibilities
- Negotiation with Suppliers: Lead negotiations to secure the best possible terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
- Market and Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Order and Contract Management: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in managing purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve supply chain issues efficiently and proactively.
- Process Improvement: Implement and support process enhancements to increase procurement efficiency and productivity.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a senior or independent role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data, assess market conditions, and drive decision-making based on insights.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successful negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
- Customer Orientation: Strong focus on internal customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to changing business needs and environments.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling documentation, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Technical Understanding: Basic technical knowledge related to procured products or services.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken); knowledge of the local language is an asset.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
